I used to work in surgery

Ok, I used to work in surgery. I was planning on working in a large hospital for the rest of my life. I just eventually got sick of explaining to doctor's how to not hurt the patient.

I know that sounds ridiculous but it is true. I think most of the doctor's I worked with would tell you the same thing.

Now that I know lotsandlots about all different types of surgery (cardiac, adult and pediatric/ thoracic-team leader at Vanderbilt/ plastic and reconstructive/ ENT- bugars,bugars/ ortho/ trauma/ transplant/ laparoscopic/ and more) I am leaving the world of nursing.

I can sum it up in two words, nursing sucks. It is so competitive to gain admission to nursing programs now, most people will have to be medical student caliber to be picked

So I ask you, why not be a doctor??

I am planning on a career in Reasearch & Development via a PhD. in Chemistry. I would really love to put doctors out of business since I know they are responsible for approximately 40% of all disease. Effin' pill pushers.

OK, I know. There are alot of great doctors out there but I swear if one more of them hits on me I will vomit. One Nashville doctor I worked with got so bad even his wife began to refer to me as his "girlfriend". A joke but I certainly was not laughing.

I am still working on my first link. Peace, out.
